Purpose Restored: Juliet Nalunkuma's story

Iam a mother of two daughters at Amahoro community schools. When I heard about the opportunity of vocational training at Amahoro, I counted my dreams come true because I had lost hope in finding something to do in life, since I never got a chance to go to school due to my parent’s financial inabilities. I wake up each day very early in the morning with my two beautiful daughters and we all go to school-I also have a plan for a day. Amahoro’s thoughtfulness is a gift I will always treasure. The vocational school is an empowerment to both men and women in our community so that we can eventually pull out of poverty by using the Acquired skills to earn a living. My plan at the end of the training as I get my own sewing machine as a start-up package from Amahoro is to start using it to make money so I can support my children keep in school until when they finish with their education because education is the greatest gift I can ever give to my children. I thank ACCT for helping us the needy, they support our children at Amahoro community schools, bring for them school bags, scholastic materials, medical services, sanitary towels, playing toys, teach them better English and we can never thank God enough for all they do for us. We are grateful as a community!
